Day 2 and 3

Sorry folks I never got on yesterday to blog about Day 2. Day 2 was Cardio and Resistence, and boy when I tell you, what an upper body workout this gave me. Yes I had to stop a bunch of times, and he must be nuts to think I can do all those funky pushups, but I got through even with my breaks. Looking forward to Cardio Recovery on Day 3.

Day 3
Today was Cardio recovery. If this is recovery, than my name has changed. It was almost as hard as the first 2 workouts, although I did stop a few less times. Looking fowarard to tomrrow's workout.

I have to say I am feeling great!! I feel I have more energy, and each day seems to get a bit easier to get up at 5am for this. I am also hungrier than usual, so I guess that means my metabolism is reving which is also great!!

I have been also weight training, therefore working out 2x a day. I did UBWO Monday, than a LBWO Tues, and I think maybe i'll just take a walk today and go back to UBWO and LBWO Thurs and Fri.

Day 1 - Plyo Cardio Circuit

After doing my fit test over the weekend, I decided today would begin my new regimen. I got up at 5am and did Plyo Cardio Circuit. I have never worked so hard, and sweated to hard. Here is a quick recap. The warm up was good. It then went into another segment which I said ok this is not bad, I was sweaty, heaving, but it was good. Then Shaun says "ok and now onto our workout" WHAT??? So I thought that was a part of the workout. So now the fun starts. Wow, I had to stop quite a few times, just for a quick 5 second breather and sip of water. I did get through the entire dvd, with my little many stops which I am hoping as time goes on those stops become less and less. It was definintely a fun workout I have to say. You do many diff moves, in q uick sequence, mixed with some stretching, little bit of yoga, and mylegs certainly di dget a workout of their own. I have that crippled feeling I get when I work hard with weights, and this is just body weight, so I know its a good workout.

Day 1 - The Fit Test

WOW!!! I don't know what else to say. This fit text kick my buttocks in the right and wrong places.
First the warmup, ok I was gasping for air 1/2 way through this. I knew then and there I was in big trouble...... I did some deep breathing after and I admit even paused it for like 30 seconds before beginning the actual test.

So onto the test. The fisrt couple of tests were not too too bad, I was slightly below what Sean's buddies were at on their first test. Then it got harder, and by the time I was on the last 2 tests I just laid there for the first 10 seconds thinking I can't even do one. Of course after those 10 seconds I would suck it up and do what I could. The jack-knife pushups, OMG..... I have never talked to a dvd so much out loud. I never said "are you for real" so many times in a 35 minute session. I put my shoes on, took them off, put them back on. This test sent me for a loop, physically and mentally. When the grey bar would come on inbetween each test, so you could write your score and get some water, I talked to it, thougth if I asked it niely to slow down or pause it would. By the last couple tests I am not kidding you that I crawled over to my calendar and pen to write it down.

My son came into the room in the middle of all this and ws like "mom, are you ok" I wasa redder than a tomato and gasping for air and could hardly talk. I finally was able to get out "i'm fine, this is fun, really, its crazy but I am loving it" He shook his head and took a seat to witnesst he rest of my INSANITY. He said what is this, I told him its INSANITY, he said I know you are, but what is this you are doing? LMFAO I screamed "I SAIDN INSANITY" and threw him the calendar to see for himself its the name of the program, not me, although I think I must be now"

Tomorrow is Cardio Plyo, I am scared, if I looked like that after a fit test, what's in store for me with the actual work outs....?

Day 1 of Insanity of my new career

Well, today started my new fitness regimen which also led me to step 1 of building a new business. I am tired of being a desk slave and really would like to change that before I realy am too old. A FB friend of mine, Jocelyn, introduced me to INSANITY by Beachbody and Shaun Thompson. I ordered it and her blogs got me addicted and heated up for it before I even owned it. It finally came and I did the fit test and wow, you think you are in shape until you do this intense fit test.
